Terms and Conditions

These terms are designed to ensure a safe, respectful, and professional environment for all members and guests of Cowork + Create.

By completing your booking and payment, you agree to the following terms and conditions of use.

1. Booking Confirmation

Your casual coworking day pass is confirmed upon payment and is valid for the selected booking date only.

2. Mandatory Induction (First Visit)

All casual coworkers must complete a safety and security site induction prior to using the space.

This includes:

  • Emergency exits and procedures
  • Safety equipment locations
  • General use of facilities and shared spaces

3. Access & Use of Space

  • Access is permitted during approved hours only (Monday–Friday, 8:00am – 6:00pm unless otherwise arranged)
  • Hot desks operate on a first-come, first-served basis
  • No desk, monitor, or workspace is reserved
  • You are required to bring your own equipment (laptop, charger, etc.)

4. Clean Desk Policy

  • All personal belongings must be removed at the end of your visit
  • Items must not be left unattended in the space
  • Cowork + Create is not responsible for lost, stolen, or unattended items

5. Shared Space Etiquette

By using the space, you agree to follow all Cowork + Create etiquette and community standards, including:

  • Maintaining a clean and respectful environment
  • Using headphones for calls or moving to phone booths for longer conversations
  • Cleaning and returning all kitchen, desk, and shared areas after use

6. Casual Day Pass Limitations

  • Casual day passes are for individual use only
  • Guests are not permitted on site under a casual pass
  • Meeting rooms are not included
  • Meeting rooms can be booked separately via the online booking system

7. Safety & Security

  • You are responsible for your own belongings, conduct, and use of the space
  • The premises are monitored by security cameras for safety and security purposes

8. Liability, Internet & Insurance

  • Use of the space and facilities is entirely at your own risk
  • Cowork + Create is not liable for any loss, theft, damage, injury, business interruption, or equipment failure
  • WiFi and internet services are provided as a convenience and are used at your own risk
  • Cowork + Create is not responsible for cyber security breaches, data loss, or connectivity issues
  • You are responsible for your own insurance, including equipment and professional activities

9. Payments & Cancellations

  • All bookings are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed
  • Bookings may be rescheduled with appropriate notice
  • Cowork + Create reserves the right to refuse access or cancel bookings due to misuse, safety concerns, or non-compliance with these terms

10. General Conditions

  • The Cowork + Create address cannot be used for business registration, mail handling, or Google business listings
  • Any incidents must be reported to hello@coworkandcreate.com.au within 48 hours
  • In case of emergency, please dial 000

Agreement

By completing your booking and attending Cowork + Create, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions, along with those outlined in the Cowork + Create Member Handbook.
